In circles

so, im working on various mixtapes and recovering from my weekend filled with ho-ho and a split i made featuring both, get this... Atmosphere and sunnyday real estate; polar opposites work so well together. And on another note i may have found The Seven Seas a real keyboardist that just might be able to come to practice.

Im on the ulgy organ

dear diary,
(cause felicia said i had to start it this way)ok. i know.i suck, and i
dont ever update (over a month) yeah, i think we settled on The Seven
Seas as our band name, bitch about it in a comment. oh, almost
forgot so, me and beth broke up. let me rephrase that, sheneeds space. I dont mean to sound bitter or spiteful, im just... well,
a little bitter and a little spiteful. I'll try not to reflect that and
i wont be an ass ( i promise) but right now i just need to hear how its
ok by guys with bad voices and out-of-tune acoustic guitars.
1. Show Rocked, Trial and Error was amazing
2. I think my feelings can be perfectly summed up by an excerpt from the Arcade Fire's "Crown of Love":

You gotta be the one,
you gotta be the way,
your name is the only word,
the only word that I can say!

The Arcade Fire ablum is now my second favorite, next to my beloved Emergency & I, which is saying a lot... like a lot a lot. Go buy it. Now. Why are you still reading? But, since you are i will now tell you about my day, i had my art exam, which was the same one as last year, i would bet money that i got less than 3 questions wrong GO! me. but then came the dreaded (so not) English exam, it was really really long and i didnt get any of my bagels at "lunch" which made me sad. But yeah now i get to go and make mixed thingys for people
FunFun

If the children don't grow up,
our bodies get bigger but our hearts get torn up.
We're just a million little god's causin rain storms turnin' every good thing to rust.

I did however write 2 songs, one my mexican ska one, which i would explain the chords to but i really dont want to because it will take almost a page. but here are the words i just came up with, im sorry if they are bad. this first one is for "patchwork radio" my solo thing (yeah i know its a joke, but damnit it im writing a song)

She dragged me across the wastelands
to my certain awaiting death
with the buzzards circling overhead
But i followed, yes i did

With the sun high overhead
we still continued on
No water, no water
for the weary

(Musical Bridge followed by rad solo)

and thats all ive got so far.

This is the other song i wrote i have the bassline and chords but thats it, and its for Great On Toast

Why do you say
what you dont mean
are you happy
with this monster
that you made?

Watch Watch Watch
your mouth
what you say
these walls have ears
so dont tell of your fears

but thats all i have, 2 verses, suggestions for both songs would be nice

I woke up with a piece of past caught in my throat

So, tonight was pretty rad, even though jack flash was the best band we saw and thats bad. But i hung out with Ryan, Alex, Beth and Nina which made things rad, but i didnt get to talk to kelly that much. And apparently Great On Toast (not a sandwich) now has a show set up for Beth's Birthday party, so we now need to suck less and work on rocking more. I think we are playing with Rivera and who ever else we can find by then. This show will not only be Great On Toast's first but also the first show that our label "The Firing Squad" has a band playing. But anyways, my head hurts from crappy music and i think im going to go to sleep.

'Night Kids

It's not too late to save the remnants of our hearts...

So, ive been working on this short story and thats why i haven't updated (so not), but yeah, here it is:

Wet Pavement

The lights cut through the fading darkness like a beacon of cleansing hope, this light reflected off the twin testimonies to the victimized and dead which coaxed a small crowd of surrounding motorists and homeowners, who gazed in silence into the two open doors of the ambulance, some disheveled and confused, others awake and all too aware of the tragedies of the previous night.

These doors don’t judge nor do they hold grudges, however, they are foreboding and intimidating, they are the harbingers of health and deliverance that everyone fears. The red and white cross etched into the doors gave hope to the downtrodden and faith to the faithless. These doors issued new beginnings and rolled the proverbial credits for the unfortunate some. These doors are witnesses and caretakers to hundreds of life’s victims. They are the saviors and angels that deliver the casualties of chance to hopefully a safe haven. The crippled and confused soul lies on the bed and lifelessly bores holes into the sky as he is loaded into the life-giving interior. The ambulance speeds away on the sole mission to outrun death. However not all of these excursions are as flawless as one may hope, more times then it should, death races ahead and the mere tires of the ambulance are not enough for life to prevail. There are other forces at work other than that of the ambulance, the knife, window, gun or car as in this instance.

Today’s vehicle of choice was crippled by both an oncoming telephone pole and an opposing car. Both cars were totaled but one was totally demolished; the car that was completely crippled no longer existed behind the front seats. The remains were scatted and dispersed about this bleak landscape; the rear axel was still attached to the telephone pole that the ‘92 Honda Accord plowed into. The hood of the car was unattached and thrown eight or ten feet away from the wreck. The blue-grey paint on the remaining half was now flecked with both a sickly deep red and the base primer where the car’s paint was grinded off from sliding. Broken glass and detached doors were flung from the site; the two on the left side were still at the telephone pole almost 30 feet away. The windshield was broken, preventing one from looking into the interior and seeing the driver. The cars engine was still running, since the car was never hit from head on, but was hit on each side by either obstacle, posing a massive threat to the livelihood of the surrounding paramedics and populous. The car’s radio was amazingly still intact and squealing guitars and screeching vocals poured out of the disabled car. Two paramedics pulled the nameless victim out of his crumbled wreck of a car; he looked to be about 18, tall with curly blond hair with a possible broken leg and several lacerations to his left side when the doors were ripped from the frame of the car, he wasn’t bleeding badly but he wasn’t conscious. The paramedics artfully loaded his body onto the stretcher, shut the door and he was gone.

questions, comments? Right, but on another note the entire Baca family thinks that my hipster-esque tude should grace the halls of Key School,it would be pretty rad but my parents arn't about to shell out any
amount of money for me to go to a prep school.

Friday i think that our Synth-rawk band (working title) may even practice for the first time, well maybe.
